5 creative uses for the humble lip balm

It may not be the most hip and glamourous product, but the humble lip balm can certainly be versatile. Especially during winter when your skin starts to dry out more than usual.

Here are 5 alternative uses to consider when you pucker up

  1. Cracked finger tips this winter. Apply lip balm to the finger tips to heal dry or cracked fingers
  2. Forgot hand lotion, swipe some lip balm over the dry patches, like that spot between your pointer finger and thumb
  3. Use it to keep wayward dry and fine hair in place. Works for rebellious brows too
  4. Ring stuck on your finger, simply dab around the affected finger and steadily apply pressure on the ring until it comes off
  5. Have a cold, apply some lip balm to your nose after you use a tissue to protect the skin from getting all red and irritated. To save cross contamination try putting the lip balm onto a Q-tip before applying

Do you have a lip balm hack? We’d love to hear it
